Courses & Programmes
KNN offers four programmes: B.Sc Nursing (4 years, 60 seats), GNM Diploma (3.5 years, 60 seats), Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (2 years, 45 seats) and M.Sc Nursing (2 years, 25 seats across 5 specialisations).
All programmes are affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore. Degrees are awarded under RGUHS authority and are recognised across India.
The M.Sc Nursing programme offers five specialisations: Paediatric Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing, and Obstetric & Gynaecological Nursing. Each specialisation has 5 seats.
The GNM is a diploma while B.Sc Nursing is a degree. GNM graduates can later upgrade to a B.Sc degree through the Post Basic B.Sc programme offered at KNN.
It is a 2-year bridge programme specifically designed for GNM graduates who want to upgrade their qualifications to a degree level, enabling them to take on greater clinical and academic responsibilities.
Admissions & Eligibility
Students must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, with a minimum of 45% marks in science subjects. SC/ST candidates require a minimum of 40%. Minimum age is 17 years.
Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks, be at least 17 years old and not above 35 years of age.
Candidates must hold a GNM diploma, be a Registered Nurse, and must not be above 48 years of age on 31st December of the admission year.
Candidates must hold a B.Sc Nursing degree, be a Registered Nurse and Midwife (RN & RM), and have at least one year of clinical experience after registration. Admission is through RGUHS entrance examination.

Placements
KNN has a 100% placement record since its founding in 2004. Our exclusive MoU with Columbia-Asia Hospitals ensures that every eligible graduate has a direct placement pathway.
KNN has an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding with Columbia-Asia Hospitals for both clinical training and direct placement. KNN students complete clinical postings at Columbia Asia and are directly recruited by them upon graduation.
HCG is South Asia's largest cancer care network, headquartered in Bangalore, with 22 centres across India. KNN graduates have access to specialised oncology nursing placements through our partnership with HCG.
Absolutely. Graduates who choose to explore opportunities beyond our placement partners have consistently secured positions at leading hospitals across Bangalore, India and internationally.
Campus & Facilities
KNN College of Nursing is located at 23/B, A Sector, Yelahanka New Town, Bangalore – 560 064. The campus is easily accessible from both the city centre and the airport.
Yes. PeopleTree Maarga Hospital is our on-campus hospital, providing KNN students with live clinical training in a real hospital environment before they graduate.
Yes. KNN provides hostel accommodation for outstation students. Contact our admissions office for current hostel availability and fees.
The administrative office is open Monday to Saturday, 10:00am to 4:00pm. You can also reach us by phone or WhatsApp outside of office hours.
Recognitions & Approvals
Yes. KNN College of Nursing is fully approved and recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), the apex national regulatory body for nursing education in India.
In addition to INC, KNN is approved by the Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC), affiliated to RGUHS, approved by the Government of Karnataka, and the GNM programme is approved by KSDNEB.
Yes. KNN was awarded the Bloomberg TV Most Promising Nursing College award, presented at a special ceremony by legendary Indian cricketer VVS Laxman.
