Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing
About This Programme
The two-year Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course is built to intensify the skills and knowledge gained by the student at the diploma level.
It is a programme normally taken by GNM graduates to upgrade their qualifications and ensure their marketability in the job market — enabling graduates to assume greater responsibilities than those available to GNM holders.
Since many students bring a certain amount of clinical experience after GNM, the course becomes particularly enriching — students derive stronger theoretical understanding by pitting it against their existing practical experience.
